Ian relished another success at Brands Hatch. He finished first with Mike Scott second and
Frank Lyons third. A great battle ensued with Lyons for the first 6 laps or so
before finally getting past him on the outside at Paddock. Lyons then clashed
with Anthony Ross letting Mike Scott through.

Brands Hatch Weekend...
All went well. Ian's car was back together again after the Snetterton incident, and felt very nice to
drive.
After starting from second Ian got a little bogged down when the light went green
and dropped to 5th. He managed to recover and finished second to Matthew again
with Tony Keele third.
Ian also entered the Derek Bell Race earlier in the day for more race practive. Starting 27th and last as Ian didn't enter the qualifying, he had great fun coming through to 14th at the finish.

Snetterton Races Over...
Ian acheived an impressive pole position for race 1 but got taken off when lapping a backmarker on
lap 6.
The backmarker moved back over onto Ian and the left rear clipped his front right. This broke an upright which meant Ian couldn't start the second race.
This is a big
big blow to championship hopes -2 races and no points.
Hopefully there is no
other major damage and Ian will be back at Brands Hatch on 1st July.
Results for both races were
1) Matthew Watts
2) Mike Scott
3) Antony Ross.

A Wet Start to Silverstone...
Same weather as 2006, the Silverstone day started rather wet. Qualifying was a nervous affair in the rain, with much slower than normal perfomance, however Ian Gray battled into pole position for the race.
Leading off pole Ian Gray and the Brabham BT-30 were uncatchable. A great win again at Silverstone. This was almost like a re-run of last years race where Ian also got the race win.
The final positions were;

2) Richard Kendal
3) Michael Scott
